兵庫県尼崎市に生まれる。10歳よりギターを始める。1995年単身渡英し、プロとして活動を始める。1999年、自らのルーツである沖縄に移住。 以後、県内外や海外のミュージシャンらと共演し、県内・国内のライヴハウスやスタジオにて活動。2009年、那覇市久茂地に自身のジャズクラブ『 Parker’s Mood jazz club』 をオープン。

Kousuke Johma (Guitar)
Born in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, Kousuke Johma began playing the guitar at the age of 10. In 1995, he moved to the United Kingdom to pursue his professional career. In 1999, he relocated to Okinawa, his ancestral roots. Since then, he has performed extensively both in Japan and overseas, collaborating with numerous musicians in live venues and recording studios. In 2009, he opened his own jazz club, “Parker’s Mood jazz club,” in Kumoji, Naha City.
Notable Collaborations: Ray Bryant (p), Cedar Walton (p), Lewis Nash (dr), Kenny Washington (dr), Eddie Henderson (tp), Grady Tate (dr), Jimmie Smith (dr), Bob Cranshaw (bs), and many others.
Sebastiaan Kaptein
オランダ出身。
クラシック音楽で2年間チェロを学ぶ。その後ドラムスを研究し、ジャンベをコンビネーションで使用することを始める。
1997年に大学卒業後、ニューヨークで演奏、レコーディング、ツアーを行う。その後は世界40カ国を旅行し、様々なアーティストとセッションを交わす。
現在は沖縄在住。

Sebastiaan Kaptein was born in 1969 in Oegstgeest, Holland.
He studied with Roy Dackus at the Conservatory in Groningen and graduated cum laude in 1996. In the meantime he was already a working musician, playing with some of Hollands finest musicians. After 3 months studying in New York at the Drummers Collective, Sebastiaan started playing and touring more and more. Shared the stage with musicians like Toots Thielemans, Jesse van Ruller, Deborah Brown, Fleurine and Brad Mehldau, in around 40 countries, Sebastiaan is now continuing his musical life as a freelance drummer in Japan.
高尾 英樹 Takao Hideki
山梨県出身、沖縄在住。
中学から大学までtubaを吹き、大学時代にジャズと出会いウッドベースを手にする。
以来、主に沖縄県内のライブハウスやイベント等に出演している。
“element of the moment”として台北国際ジャズフェスティバルや、
金沢ジャズストリート、Jazz in 南城等様々なイベントライブ等に出演。
琉球チムドン楽団としてアメリカや中国、台湾、ロシアツアーに参加。
また、豪華客船内のシアターホールへ多数出演。
ブロードウェイアクター高良結香のBroadway Nightへの出演。
韓国にてジャズライブ出演・レコーディング参加。
沖縄民謡、本竹祐助氏のライブやレコーディングへ参加。
ジュニアジャズオーケストラ那覇ベース講師
県外・海外アーティストのライブサポート等、幅広く活動している。
Hideki Takao (Wood Bass)
Born in Yamanashi Prefecture and currently based in Okinawa.
Hideki Takao played the tuba from junior high through university, where he first encountered jazz and began playing the wood bass. Since then, he has been a prominent fixture in Okinawa’s live music scene, performing at various clubs and events.
As a member of “element of the moment,” he has performed at international festivals including the Taipei International Jazz Festival, Kanazawa Jazz Street, and Jazz in Nanjo. He has also toured internationally in the United States, China, Taiwan, and Russia with the Ryukyu Chimdon Band. His extensive performance career includes numerous shows on luxury cruise ship stages and appearances at Broadway actress Yuka Takara’s “Broadway Night.” Furthermore, he has performed and recorded in South Korea, and collaborated with renowned Okinawa folk music artist Yusuke Mototake.
Beyond his active performance career, he serves as a bass instructor for the Junior Jazz Orchestra Naha and provides support for domestic and international visiting artists, making him a versatile and highly sought-after musician.
